Who she treats

What Brings Most Patients Here

Most patients who travel here from abroad arrive with one of these, after being told at home that nothing can be done:

No. 01

Lumps or nodules

Firm spots you can feel or see, weeks or years after injection.

No. 02

Asymmetry after filler

One side sits higher, fuller, or sharper than the other.

No. 03

An overfilled, unnatural look

You look different, not better, and people notice.

No. 04

Filler that migrated

Product that moved from where it was placed.

No. 05

Results that faded wrong

Uneven fading that left contours you never asked for.

No. 06

"My injector says it's normal"

But it does not feel normal to you.

If any of these sound familiar, an assessment costs you nothing but five minutes.

Questions

Before You Ask

Planning your trip

How many days should I stay in Seoul?

It depends on whether your case can be treated in one visit or needs to be staged. Dr. Yu confirms the exact window in your written assessment, before you book flights, because it depends on what she sees in your photos. Send the photos first, then book.

How much downtime should I expect?

Non-surgical corrections leave some swelling or bruising, and dissolving injections or thread-adhesion release take longer to settle than a straightforward filler adjustment. Rather than quote an average that may not apply to you, your assessment gives you the range for your specific case.

Can everything be done in one trip?

Often yes, but not always. Some corrections need a staged approach: dissolve first, let tissue settle, then re-treat. If your case needs two stages, Dr. Yu tells you in the written assessment so you can decide between one longer trip or two shorter ones.

When can I fly home?

Late enough that she can see you once for a follow-up check after the last procedure — your assessment builds that visit into your dates. Flying home too soon is the most common mistake international patients make.

Language, logistics, and follow-up

Is the consultation in English?

Yes. Dr. Yu lectures to physicians internationally in English, and your written assessment arrives in English.

What happens after I fly home?

Follow-up continues remotely by WhatsApp or email. Send photos at the intervals Dr. Yu specifies, and she reviews them herself.

Where should I stay?

The clinic is on Dosan-daero in Gangnam, Seoul, an area with plenty of hotels and serviced apartments within walking distance.

Cost and clinic

Why are there no prices on this page?

Complication correction is priced case-by-case, because no two cases are alike. Instead of a teaser price, you receive a written estimate range within 72 hours of sending your form, and the final quote is confirmed only after an in-person examination.

Where will I be treated?

Treatments are provided at BIO Plastic Surgery on Dosan-daero in Gangnam, Seoul, where Dr. Yu practices. Your assessment, estimate, and consultation all happen before you book any travel.

Do you take insurance?

No. These are elective aesthetic treatments and are not covered by insurance.
